Set right on the towpath, facing the meeting of the Sambre and the Meuse, the house looks out towards the Citadel. An old home with high ceilings, restored without losing an ounce of its soul: the original fireplace, exposed brick, and the light off the river from morning to night.

Everything is within walking distance — the old town, the café terraces, the cable car, the Grognon. Park the car in the garage and forget about it. At dawn, the barges drift past; in the evening, the light slides across the water.
